Participants will learn how to build engaging web-based learning activities using the power of Unity®, a video game software (no experience required). The presenters will share activities and templates. Teachers will use a variety of customizable templates to craft activities that can promote vocabulary and reasoning skills. With individualized support, there will be time to design and create simulations or activities in specific subject areas using video instructions. Templates include hexagonal-thinking, tile-matching, triominos, sequencing, and diagram-labeling. The activities can be posted on a web site, allowing students to simply open a web browser and use them! We look forward to building a community of educators who can collaborate to support our educational goals of developing educational materials available on the web using Unity.
