This is a discussion-based session for teachers in the area of teacher retirement. The presenter had a wonderful opportunity to speak to more than 400 retiring teachers over a 13 year period in a large rural school division. The retiring teachers had powerful and helpful stories to share. Come join us and hear their messages. During our time together we engage in small and large group discussion around the notion and importance of teacher retirement planning. Teachers and leaders who participate in this session will engage in meaningful discussions and leave with practical ideas and recommendations about teacher retirement. They will also receive a one-page checklist to help plan their own retirement.
