About me
I am a teacher from Ireland that has been teaching in Grasslands school division for 6 years. I teach at a small rural school called Rolling Hills where I am predominantly a Junior High teacher of science, Math, social, Gym etc. I also teach elementary school gym, art, RTI, LLI etc.Last year I started to develop, independent of Grasslands, a math screening tool which I felt could deliver data driven intervention by automatically assessing students weaknesses and strengths.This meant developing an online assessment tool which assessed each student on every outcome (and sub outcome) to provide data on a student, class, school and division level. The program is called MathMap. I am currently developing grades 4-9 in line with the Alberta curriculum and the program will be in use in Albertan schools this coming September.
