About me
Leanne Watson is an Executive Staff Officer for Teacher Employment Services with the Alberta Teachers’ Association. Leanne's previous roles include teacher, former K – 12 Administrator, School Improvement Coach and AAC casual consultant. Leanne’s commitment to enhancing educational practices through research and innovation, with focus on assessment and curriculum to empower educators in achieving their improvement goals, is the framework that guides her practice. She holds a BSc majoring in Chemistry, BEd, and a Masters in Curriculum and Assessment. Leanne's current research interest is neurodiversity in both children and adults and how it informs instructional leadership practices.
