Grants for vertical aeroponics in your classroom (expires Feb 28)!!! Randy can help TODAY and will be onsite to get the grant process started for you! Urban Farmer Randy Devine is working hard with the Execuserve program to open Lethbridge's first vertical aeroponic micro-farm to service grocery stores, restaurants and the like with fresh local organic produce. His vertical farm will also offer workshops for future generations and provide his handyman expertise to help redesign kitchen spaces for fresh food at your fingertips year round (keeping in mind your "fridge" was just an invention 100 years ago, and better appliances are here). We can redesign a greener future. Randy became passionate about sharing the art of growing our own food when the pandemic regulated him out of his award winning general contracting role (he was voted Ottawa Faces Magazine favourite general contractor for five years running as well "Best Basements" and other awards spanning to receiving the prestigious Chief Scout award from Scouts Canada in his youth). He is part of the third generation of a large Dutch family, the Hardemans, known for agriculture, working with their hands, and for their support of the communities they live in. In fact, his uncle Ernie Hardeman is one of Canada's longest running MPPs and also served as Ontario’s Minister of Agriculture among other related cabinet roles. Randy came west to be closer to family here in Alberta and is working hard to help schools and help families to EASILY grow their own food in their schools and homes, and he is presently focused on helping schools access a grant that expires March 1. This heritage rooted Randy in growing his own vegetables even in urban settings. He is excited to share the opportunity for everyone to be self-sustainable in a short time (even in tight accommodations like apartments) via vertical aeroponic gardens. Let’s grow together!
